Civil Service Hub implemented the project designed to support and improve the application of the whistleblowing mechanism in the public service. The project aimed to understand the existing challenges and barriers to the application of the whistleblowing institute in practice as viewed by the civil servants of national and subnational state institutions. The project researched relevant international practices to identify measures for overcoming these barriers as identified in the focus-group research.
The project provided a set of recommendations to all stakeholders on specific steps to be taken for the improved application of the whistleblowing institute based on the findings of this study and the research of international practices.
